Vienna

Investor seminar 2026

17-18 June

Hero background

New Empires

Navigating the Era of Great Powers

The global order is entering a phase of profound and lasting transformation. Long-standing assumptions about openness, cooperation, and leadership are being reshaped as new centers of power emerge and geopolitical, economic, and technological dynamics increasingly converge.

The result is a more fragmented world, marked by competition, strategic realignments, and shifting alliances. Candriam’s Investor Seminar will explore the forces underpinning this transition and their long-term implications.

Register

Taking a step back from short-term uncertainty, the event will invite investors to reflect on how enduring changes in power, governance, and influence are redefining the global landscape — and the investment environment — for the decades ahead.

Speakers

Candriam's Investor Seminar provides a privileged and exceptional setting to discuss key societal issues with leading international figures in their field; and to exchange views on topical investment opportunities with our experts and senior leaders.

Highlights 2024 - Madrid

Reviving Progress

Introduced in the early 19th century, the concept of progress has since then defined the idea of development of an action "towards the better", suggesting a path for humanity and a meaning to history.
Today, confronted with the planet's limits and the irreversible impact of its actions on ecosystems, mankind must rethink advancements in technology, science, and social organization to continue improve human condition.
In a world increasingly driven by global noise and immediacy, a revived sound of progress must remain the ultimate chord of sustainable human development.
